UK organisations, professionals, businesses, charities, universities, and the Nepali diaspora can contribute expertise, funding, equipment, and community support.
Does the initiative deploy independent UK rescue teams?
No. UK–Nepal Disaster Response Initiative support must be coordinated with the Government of Nepal and authorised humanitarian organisations. UK teams should not independently enter disaster zones; the focus is on strengthening local search and rescue, medical response, relief, recovery, and resilience.
